Scarce amenities near a tourist spot

In Gram Panchayat Ratega (Bijakasa), Bastar District, the Government has declared a Waterfall as a tourist spot. But in and around that area for about 5 kilometres, the residents are facing acute water shortage and other basic amenities, such as all weather roads etc.

Due to lack of access to water, the residents are forced to drink water from the river and springs, often walking long distances. The tourists also carry bottled drinking water when they come to see the Waterfall as there are no facilities for drinking water.
